President Trump Set to Launch Bitcoin and Crypto Wallet

President Donald Trump is poised to deepen his footprint in the crypto market with the launch of the TRUMP Wallet, a new trading application designed to promote his TRUMP memecoin alongside other digital assets like Bitcoin.

The initiative, developed in collaboration with cryptocurrency firm Magic Eden, signals Trump’s growing ambition to dominate the digital finance space. While the project has not been officially announced, but scooped by Molly White, a waitlist page briefly appeared on TrumpWallet.com, hinting at an imminent release. The domain, which changed ownership on May 2, 2025, also linked to a newly registered X/Twitter account, further suggesting the wallet’s debut is near. The application’s branding aligns closely with the TRUMP memecoin, launched shortly before Trump’s inauguration, and aims to attract his loyal supporters to the volatile world of crypto trading.

The waitlist page featured a bold promotional banner promising “$1 MILLION in TRUMP REWARDS” to early sign-ups. According to the terms and conditions, participants can enter a referral based program to win “Trump Boxes” containing between 1 and 50 TRUMP memecoins, currently valued at $11.30 to $565.

Additionally, one lucky waitlist entrant will be randomly selected to receive $100,000 in TRUMP tokens. While the financial details of the partnership between Trump’s team and Magic Eden remain undisclosed, Trump’s previous crypto ventures have profited through revenue-sharing agreements, licensing deals, and direct stakes in related businesses. Whether longtime associate Bill Zanker, who spearheaded Trump’s memecoin and NFT projects, is involved in this endeavor remains unclear.

A Crowded Field of Trump Crypto Ventures

The TRUMP Wallet is the latest addition to Trump’s expanding portfolio of cryptocurrency projects, which includes the TRUMP memecoin, the World Liberty Financial platform, planned crypto ETFs through Truth Social, and multiple NFT collections.

World Liberty Financial is also developing a decentralized trading application, while Truth Social’s parent company, TMTG, has expressed interest in entering the decentralized finance space. This proliferation of Trump affiliated crypto initiatives, managed by separate entities, raises questions about potential competition within his own ecosystem. The TRUMP Wallet’s development leverages Magic Eden’s expertise, a company that began as an NFT trading platform in 2021 and has since secured $150 million in venture funding from investors like Paradigm and Sequoia. Magic Eden’s recent acquisition of Slingshot Finance, a decentralized trading app and self-custodial wallet, has expanded its reach into broader digital asset trading.

The TRUMP Wallet’s waitlist page bears a striking resemblance to Slingshot Finance’s application, sharing identical navigation elements like trending cryptocurrency lists and leaderboards. It also temporarily adopted Slingshot’s privacy policy and terms, though these may be placeholders. Slingshot’s platform allows trading of over five million cryptocurrencies, including major tokens like Ethereum and Solana, as well as memecoins. Revenue for the wallet is likely to come from swap fees charged on transactions, though it’s unclear how these will be divided between Trump’s entities and Magic Eden.

Magic Eden has confirmed the news by publishing a post on X saying the Official TRUMP Wallet is coming soon, and that it is powered by Magic Eden.

Donald Trump Jr., posted to X saying the Trump organization has zero involvement with this wallet product; however, World Liberty Financial is working on their own crypto wallet which should be launching soon. Clearly this is contradicting and confusing, and there is more to the story that will come out soon enough.
