LA Vape Cabal Member Accused of Insider Trading Flees Country Due to Death Threats

Crypto influencer SolJakey has found himself at the center of a swirling controversy, prompting him to flee from Barcelona after receiving death threats tied to alleged insider trading. The accusations revolve around his supposed involvement with the LIBRA token, a project linked to Argentinian President Javier Milei that ultimately flopped.
SolJakey’s ties to Hayden Davis, a key figure behind Kelsier Ventures, the firm that helped launch both LIBRA and Melania Trump’s MELANIA token, have fueled speculation. His connections, paired with a cryptic social media presence, have left the crypto community wondering what is going on, meanwhile critics are fuming and poking holes in his story.
On February 15, SolJakey took to social media with a lengthy post defending key opinion leaders and their role in the crypto space, where he mocked the idea of insider trading, saying "some you guys are such cry babies." The response was swift and harsh. Several days later he claimed the backlash escalated into death threats from people asserting they knew his location. Rattled, he and his crew packed up and relocated to an undisclosed spot featuring a private pool, a move he documented in a moody montage in another video he posted.
In the footage, he raved about the food and hinted the new digs were just hours away, punctuating it with an enthusiastic outburst about settling in. Later, from what he described as a plush hideaway, he addressed the swirling LIBRA accusations, alleging the move was a direct response to threats of violence and squatting against him.
SolJakey’s Defense and the Argentina Coin Connection
Diving into the allegations, SolJakey has been adamant about his innocence. He maintains he had no hand in LIBRA’s launch, trading it like any other public investor and breaking even at a $2.5 billion entry point. He’s also quick to distance himself from the ENRON token launch, denying any preferential treatment like early token allocations or crypto addresses that would suggest insider activity.
Yet, he does concede a possible edge, admitting that Hayden Davis, who advised Milei and facilitated MELANIA’s debut, had clued him into the likelihood of an Argentine-themed coin emerging. Still, he insists that’s where the trail ends, framing his predicament as a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, tainted by association rather than action.
This saga doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Other voices in the crypto sphere, including members of the LA Vape Cabal, have hinted that an Argentinian coin was hardly a well-kept secret among memecoin insiders. SolJakey himself has detailed a series of meetups with Hayden across cities like Los Angeles, Istanbul, and Barcelona, even crossing paths with DefiTuna founder Dhirk at one such gathering.
That connection later soured when Dhirk severed ties with Kelsier Ventures, though SolJakey swears none of these encounters had anything to do with LIBRA’s rollout. His narrative paints a picture of casual networking rather than a calculated scheme, but the court of public opinion seems less convinced.
The fallout has thrust SolJakey into a strange spotlight, blending high-stakes accusations with a jet-set escape. Whether his claims of innocence hold water or the threats were as dire as he claims, the episode underscores the volatile mix of ambition and mistrust coursing through the crypto world.
